Product of Margate's youth system who played for the club's Under-14 side during 1998/99 and broke into the reserve team towards the end of the 2000/01 season. Aaron scored on his reserve team debut in a 4-0 win at Swanley Furness in March 2001.

During the 2001/02 campaign he was on Ramsgate's books and played regularly for their senior side. Aaron scored twice in a 3-0 win at Hythe in the Kent League on 13.4.02. However as Aaron was part of Margate's PASE apprenticeship scheme he was also eligible to play for Margate and on 23.4.02 he made his first team debut as a substitute in a 5-0 win over Ashford in the Kent Senior Cup semi-final at Hartsdown Park. He came on after 77 minutes, a few days before his 17th birthday, and the Isle of Thanet Gazette said Aaron "seemed totally at ease", "looked lively in attack" and "certainly did his reputation no harm". Margate manager Chris Kinnear told the Isle of Thanet Gazette "I was pleased for Aaron - he was sat on the bench with (assistant manager) Kevin Raine's boots on, and I asked him if he wanted to come on. He said it was his dream to play for the club. There was no way he wasn't going to go on after that."

Four days after his fleeting appearance for Margate Aaron resumed his Ramsgate duties and scored twice in their 4-3 defeat at Tunbridge Wells on 27.4.02. He ended up staying with the club until the end of the 2004/05 campaign.

In the summer of 2005 Aaron moved on to Deal and scored nine goals from 37 appearances (five as sub) for the Kent Leaguers during 2005/06. At that time he was working as a car insurance clerk.

In the summer of 2006 Aaron rejoined Margate and on 29.7.06 he scored in a 4-0 win over Ashford in a friendly at Hartsdown Park. On the eve of the 2006/07 season player-manager Robin Trott told the Isle of Thanet Gazette that Aaron was "Adaptable as a winger or forward, he'll chase lost causes and he really wants to play for Margate. That makes my job easy."

On 26.8.06 Aaron made his first competitive appearance for Margate since April 2002 when he came on as a substitute in a 2-1 home win over Slough and his next outing as a sub came in a 2-0 win at Walton & Hersham in the Isthmian League Premier Division on 5.9.06. The Isle of Thanet Gazette said he "looked lively" and Aaron featured once more as a sub before making his first start in the number 11 shirt in a 2-0 defeat at Ramsgate in the Isthmian League Cup on 12.9.06. He played twice more as a substitute in Margate's next three games before filling in as a makeshift left-back in a 0-0 draw with Bromley at Hartsdown Park on 26.9.06. Aaron didn't play again until 17.10.06 when he came on in a 3-2 defeat at Billericay and that turned out to be his final first team outing.

In November 2006 Aaron was loaned back to Deal and he stayed there until February 2007. After making a brief return to Hartsdown Park his move to Deal became permanent in March 2007 and Aaron left Margate having made eight senior appearances (six as sub) without scoring.

He was still with Deal at the end of the 2010/11 season and Aaron had made well over 100 Kent League appearances for the club by then.

In June 2011 Isthmian League Division 1 South club Whitstable announced that they'd signed Aaron for the 2011/12 campaign and their manager Peter Nott said "Aaron has quick feet and likes to play in a wide role so he can get at defenders and deliver quality crosses into the box." However Aaron never actually played for the Oystermen, not even featuring in their pre-season friendlies, and he ended up staying at Deal for the 2011/12 campaign, scoring on the opening day of the season for them.

Aaron also spent 2012/13 with Deal but in July 2013 he left the club and signed for Kent County League Division Two East newcomers East Kent College.
