Maidstone-born striker who bagged 36 goals from 26 league and cup games for West Malling-based Kent County League Division 2 East club Malgo during the 2009/10 season to make him the leading goalscorer in the whole of the County League.

In the summer of 2010 Alex joined Margate having been recommended to manager Iain O'Connell by midfielder Jay Saunders and on 24.7.10 he scored in his first friendly outing - a 2-0 win at Faversham - after coming on as a substitute.

On the eve of the 2010/11 campaign Iain O'Connell spoke about Alex to the Isle of Thanet Gazette and said "He's scored loads of goals at Sunday level and when I saw him you could tell he has something about him. Good player who's looking to cement his place in the team."

Alex made his debut as a substitute in a 2-1 defeat at Lowestoft in the Isthmian League Premier Division on 28.8.10 and after sitting out three matches he made his next appearance from the bench in a 3-0 win at Binfield in the FA Cup on 11.9.10. Alex then made two more sub appearances in Margate's next seven games.

On 12.10.10 he made his full debut in an Isthmian League Cup tie against Thamesmead at Hartsdown Park and Alex scored twice as Margate lost 5-2. The Isle of Thanet Gazette described his second goal from 25 yards as a "screamer which fairly ripped into the roof of the net" but the match turned out to be Alex's last outing for Margate. Shortly afterwards Iain O'Connell said "He's got to get fit, so I'm trying to get him out on loan and hope to have something sorted by the weekend. He needs to play first team football; he's whole-hearted and dedicated and I reckon there's something about him."

Before the end of October 2010 Alex was loaned to Isthmian League Division 1 South club Faversham but he never returned to Margate and after scoring six goals from 17 outings (eight as sub) for the Lilywhites he left Faversham in January 2011.

Alex then rejoined Malgo and on 12.3.11 he scored a hat-trick for them in a 4-1 win over Borden Village. He also scored three times in a 4-3 win over Guru Nanak on 26.3.11 and by the end of the season Alex had managed 14 goals for Malgo.

In June 2011 he was signed by Maidstone of the Isthmian League Division 1 South and their player-manager was Jay Saunders who'd originally spotted Alex and suggested him for Margate. On 19.10.11 he scored a hat-trick as the Stones beat visitors Merstham 6-0 in an Isthmian League Cup tie and by the end of the 2011/12 campaign Alex had managed nine goals from 37 league appearances (20 as sub) and another seven goals in cup ties.

On 14.7.12 he came on as a substitute as Maidstone lost 5-0 to Brighton in a friendly which was the Stones' first ever match at their new stadium in James Whatman Way but later in July 2012 Alex joined Canterbury on a dual-registration basis.

He scored twice for the Kent League club in a 4-3 friendly win at Whitstable on 28.7.12 and Alex was also on target on his competitive debut as City drew 2-2 at Whyteleafe on 4.8.12. On 7.8.12 he scored a hat-trick in a 6-1 home win over Woodstock Sports and in all Alex got seven goals for Canterbury before leaving the club at the start of October 2012.

Maidstone decided to switch his dual-registration to Erith & Belvedere and Alex scored on his debut as the Deres beat Greenwich 3-2 in a Kent Senior Trophy tie. He stayed with the club for the rest of the season and the Deres won the Kent League title.

At the end of 2012/13 Alex was released by Maidstone having only featured once as a substitute in Division 1 South during the campaign although he did feature in some cup ties and scored three times in those outings.

Alex started the 2013/14 season with Kent County League outfit Staplehurst Monarchs but left the club in September 2013 having scored once from four appearances.
