Elusive winger who started his senior career with Cray Wanderers before moving on to Canterbury for the 1995/96 campaign. Danny played for the England University team that season.

In July 1996 he became new Margate manager Chris Kinnear's first signing and made his debut in a 4-1 win over Yate at Hartsdown Park on 17.8.96. Danny was a fixture in the number 11 shirt for the first few weeks of the season and on 3.9.96 he scored with a low 20-yard drive in a 3-2 home defeat at the hands of Tonbridge.

On 21.9.96 disaster struck for Danny when he suffered a dislocated knee-cap in the first half of a 4-0 defeat against Witney at Hartsdown Park. He was carried off in agony and he was later diagnosed with cruciate ligament damage too. Danny didn't play again during the season and he'd scored once in eight appearances before fate intervened.

He stayed at Margate for the 1997/98 campaign but left the club at the end of the season with no prospect of a return to fitness in sight.

In later years he had spells with Beckenham and Sittingbourne.
