Chatham-born midfielder who joined Thanet from Gravesend & Northfleet in October 1983 and made his debut as a substitute in a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of the Metropolitan Police on 22.10.83. David then made his full debut in a 1-0 defeat at Cambridge City on 5.11.83 but after playing in the following Tuesday's home game against Welling he left the club.
He later had a spell with Chatham that included the 1988/89 season.
David also made 31 appearances for Kent County League club Hollands and Blair later in his career.
