Duane again scored six times for the Bishops in the Conference South during 2005/06 and his goals came from a total of 34 league outings.

In September 2006 he signed for St.Albans and Duane scored on his debut as they lost 4-2 at Exeter in the Conference on 19.9.06. He made a total of six league appearances (three as sub) but didn't score again before being released in October 2006.

Duane then joined Isthmian League Division 1 North outfit Aveley and scored once from ten league outings (two as sub) before the end of the 2006/07 season. He also got one goal in a cup tie.

He spent 2007/08 with Potters Bar and Duane made 26 appearances for them, scoring four times.

In the summer of 2008 he linked up with Cheshunt and Duane scored once from six outings before returning to Bishop's Stortford in November 2008.

His second spell with the Bishops saw him score nine times in 26 Conference South appearances during the remainder of 2008/09 and Duane also started the 2009/10 campaign with the club.

In October 2009 he signed for AFC Hornchurch and made 14 Isthmian League Premier Division appearances without scoring for the Urchins although Duane did manage three goals in cup ties.

In March 2010 he went back to Bishop's Stortford again and Duane's third stint with the club lasted until February 2011 when he rejoined AFC Hornchurch.

He scored once from five Premier Division outings for the Urchins but left the club before the end of the season and Duane finished the campaign playing for London-based Sunday League side Beckton Athletic.

After a spell out of senior football he returned to the Isthmian League Premier Division when he signed for Margate in November 2011. Duane made his debut in a 1-1 draw with visitors Wealdstone in an FA Trophy tie on 5.11.11 and the Thanet Times said he was "in the mould of Rocky Baptiste". In addition to comparing him to the laid-back former Margate striker the paper said Duane looked "to have something about him".

He then wore the number nine shirt in the next five games but Duane didn't score and a 1-0 win over Ramsgate in a Kent Senior Cup tie at Hartsdown Park on 22.11.11 turned out to be his final appearance. Duane then missed two games due to work commitments and Margate's website said that "the ongoing situation with Duane will be assessed by the club." Although he was never officially announced as having left Duane didn't feature again and he then dropped out of senior football once more.
