Local player who joined Margate for the start of the 1994/95 season and played regularly for the club's Under-18's side during the campaign.

On 12.4.95 Jamie made his first team debut at right-back in a 2-1 defeat at Yate just two months after his 16th birthday and went on to play in six of Margate's last eight games of the season.

Jamie's younger brother Danny joined Margate for the 1995/96 campaign and starred in the club's Under-16's team but Jamie spent most of the season in the reserves. He didn't appear in the first team until 8.4.96 when he played in midfield during a 3-1 defeat at Sittingbourne but after that Jamie featured regularly as 1995/96 drew to a close, usually playing at right-back. The Thanet Times said he "gave an impressive display throughout" a 2-0 home win over Fareham on 21.4.96 and called Jamie "a fine prospect". He finished the campaign having made seven appearances (one as sub) without scoring.

Jamie made his first appearance of the 1996/97 season when he came on as a substitute in a 3-1 home win over Erith & Belvedere on 26.8.96 and he then played at left-back as Margate lost 1-0 at home to Banstead in an FA Cup tie on 31.8.96. After that Jamie's appearances became very sporadic, partly because he was suffering from a knee injury and his last first team outing came in a 2-0 defeat at Weymouth on 11.1.97. It was Jamie's sixth appearance of the season (three as sub) and turned out to be his last senior game for Margate. He spent the remainder of the campaign playing in the reserves when fit and he also helped Margate's Under-18's side to win the Kent Youth League Cup in March 1997.

Jamie stayed with Margate for another two seasons playing exclusively for the reserves before leaving the club at the end of 1998/99.

He joined Whitstable for the 1999/00 campaign and towards the end of 2001 he joined Ramsgate.

Jamie left the Rams to join Herne Bay in the summer of 2003 and they were his last senior club.

In 2012 Jamie was living in Billingshurst, West Sussex.
