Battersea-born player who first played for Margate's reserves during the 1968/69 season, at the time Keith was also playing in the Thanet League for Westgate Colts.

He continued in the reserves during the 1969/70 campaign and also made a single first team appearance, playing in a Kent Senior Shield tie at Folkestone on 13.4.70. Keith also won the Banks Cup for the best young player at the club and continued playing for the reserves during the 1970/71 season.
