Battling locally-born player who started out in Margate's youth ranks and played for the club's Under-11's side during the 1997/98 season.

Kieran later moved across Thanet to Ramsgate and captained their Under-16's team during 2002/03 and then the Under-18's during the 2003/04 campaign. He made his first team debut in the Kent League during 2004/05 as a 17 year-old and by then his brother Liam was an established first team player for the Rams too. Kieran finished that season having made three senior appearances. He had to wait until the 2006/07 campaign for his next taste of first team football and Kieran made one sub appearance in the Isthmian League Premier Division before rejoining Margate in October 2006.

He was a regular in Margate's reserves for the remainder of 2006/07 and Kieran was also an unused substitute for the last two first team matches of the season.

In the summer of 2007 he played in two of Margate's friendlies and on the eve of the new campaign player-manager Robin Trott spoke to the Isle of Thanet Gazette about Kieran and described him as "Another player who gives 100 per cent...he's very young, but he's good on the ball and hopefully will develop."

Kieran made his first team debut as a substitute in a 2-0 win over Horsham in an Isthmian League Premier Division game at Hartsdown Park on 27.8.07 and he then came off the bench in two of Margate's next four games. On 22.9.07 he made his first start in midfield in a 2-0 home defeat against Hendon and Robin Trott told the Thanet Times "Kieran Morris did well". It was the start of a good run in the side for him and Kieran started six of the next seven matches. On 6.10.07 he wore the number two shirt in a 0-0 draw at Ashford (Middlesex) and the Thanet Times said Kieran could "be proud of his efforts as a makeshift right-back" but after he'd played in midfield in a 2-1 home win over Leyton on 16.10.07 Kieran lost his place and only made one start in Margate's next eight games although he did feature as a substitute on four occasions.

At the end of October 2007 Kieran drove his car into a ditch when he was carrying his team-mates Paul Axon, Matt Bowles and Louis Smith as passengers and Robin Trott told the Thanet Times "It's not a nice thing to happen - it shook them all up."

On 24.11.07 Kieran made his first start for almost a month as Margate won 1-0 at Billericay and the Thanet Times said he was "excellent" in midfield. He then enjoyed another good run and started nine of the next 11 matches, featuring as a substitute in the other two. His latest spell as a regular ended after a 2-1 win over Chatham in a Kent Senior Cup tie at Hartsdown Park on 22.1.08 and after that Kieran only made five sub appearances in the next 11 games.

Towards the end of February 2008 Robin Trott spoke to the Thanet Times about Kieran and told the paper "He's done well and I like him. He'll be a very good player when he's older but you have to take things slowly."

On 26.3.08 Kieran made his first start for over two months as Margate entertained Ebbsfleet in the Kent Senior Cup and he scored in a 4-1 defeat to open his account for the club. He featured in four more matches during the closing weeks of the 2007/08 campaign, making three starts and one sub appearance, and after a remarkable 5-4 win over visitors Heybridge on 5.4.08 Robin Trott told the Thanet Times that Kieran had done well and added "He concentrated on what he's good at - winning tackles and headers." Kieran finished the season having scored once from 38 appearances (16 as sub).

He was a regular in the Margate side during the early part of the 2008/09 campaign and after wearing the number 11 shirt in a 2-1 defeat at Carshalton on 16.8.08 - the opening day of the new Isthmian League Premier Division season - Kieran started the next eight games in midfield before losing his place after a 5-1 defeat at Worthing in the FA Cup on 13.9.08. He only featured twice as a sub in the next five matches.

On 25.10.08 Kieran made his first start for over a month in a 1-0 defeat against Wealdstone at Hartsdown Park and he then came on as a substitute in each of the next three games. He returned to the starting line-up in a 2-1 win at Boreham Wood on 11.11.08 and on 25.11.08 Kieran was switched to right-back for a Kent Senior Cup tie against Maidstone at Sittingbourne. Margate lost 2-1 but he started four of the next five matches in the number two shirt before reverting to a midfield role in a 2-0 home defeat against Dover on 3.1.09. Kieran kept his place in midfield for Margate's next four games too but on 31.1.09 he had to go off after 15 minutes of a 1-0 defeat at Tonbridge having dislocated his shoulder.

Kieran's injury kept him out of the next seven matches and when he returned to the side for a league game against Maidstone at Sittingbourne on 21.3.09 he lined up as a centre-back. The Thanet Times said he was "the pick of the defence" in a 1-1 draw and in its report on a 3-1 home win over Billericay on 28.3.09 the paper asked "could Kieran Morris have finally found a home at centre-half ?" whilst adding he'd "probably found his best form". Manager Terry Yorath told Margate's official website "I don't know whether I should say this or not but Kieran's improved a hell of a lot since the beginning of the season. The good thing about Kieran is he's a 100 per center, he can play in a few positions and he's vital for the club at the moment."

On 4.4.09 Kieran was sent off in a 3-2 defeat at Harrow after bringing down an opponent who was through on goal having already been booked earlier. The Thanet Times said he "took one for the team" and after two outings at right-back Kieran missed a match due to his suspension. He made his last appearance of the season in the number two shirt as Margate lost 4-1 at Staines on 25.4.09 to finish in the Isthmian League Premier Division relegation zone and Kieran had played 35 times in all (seven as sub) without scoring during 2008/09.

He was given a contract ahead of the 2009/10 campaign and on the eve of new season Terry Yorath spoke to the Isle of Thanet Gazette about Kieran, saying "Absolutely fantastic for us last year. I admire him for what he tries to do. If all the others were like him I'd be happy. He's such an honest player and that's all I want."

Kieran made his first appearance of the new campaign when he featured in a 1-0 home win over Ramsgate in the first leg of a tie played for the Isle of Thanet Gazette Cup. He played in midfield and then started Margate's next three matches but after wearing the number two shirt in a 4-0 home defeat against Dartford in the Isthmian League Premier Division on 18.8.09 a broken toe ruled him out for several weeks.

Kieran returned to action when he came on as a substitute in a 2-0 defeat at Canvey Island on 10.10.09 and after one more outing from the bench he lined up in midfield as Margate won 1-0 at VCD in a Kent Senior Cup tie on 10.11.09. It was his first start for almost three months.

Shortly afterwards Kieran joined Division 1 South club Whitstable on loan and he made six appearances there without scoring before returning to Hartsdown Park in February 2010.

On 16.2.10 he came on as a sub in a 3-1 defeat against visitors Billericay but Kieran then missed the next ten games completely before playing in midfield in a 2-0 defeat at Welling in the Kent Senior Cup on 30.3.10. It turned out to be his last outing for Margate and at the end of April 2010 Kieran was released having made a total of nine appearances (three as sub) without scoring during 2009/10.

He signed for Whitstable on a permanent basis in July 2010 and Kieran made 17 appearances there (four as sub) without scoring during the 2010/11 campaign before leaving the club at the end of the season.

He dropped into local amateur football for 2011/12 and Kieran was still playing in the Thanet Sunday Football League during the 2012/13 campaign.

In July 2013 he signed for Kent County League Division Two East newcomers East Kent College.
