He was released a few days later and rejoined Gravesend & Northfleet.

Soon after his return to Stonebridge Road Rossi got both goals in a 2-1 win over Canterbury in the FA Cup and he went on to score twice more in a total of 21 appearances (one as sub) for the Fleet during the remainder of 1991/92 before leaving the club.

Rossi later played for Slade Green where he scored twice in 14 appearances during the 1994/95 campaign and he then moved on to Sheppey during 1995/96.

During the 1997/98 season Rossi played for Blue Circle in the North Kent Sunday Football League and won the league's 'Player of the Year' award.
