Local attacking player who attended St.Georges' School in Broadstairs and progressed through Margate's youth ranks.

Scott started the 1996/97 campaign in the reserves and soon found himself on the bench for first team matches too.

He made his debut as a substitute in a 2-1 defeat at Forest Green on 7.9.96 and then made two more sub appearances in the weeks that followed - in a 3-1 defeat against Fisher at Hartsdown Park on 24.9.96 and in a 2-1 win at Erith & Belvedere on 8.10.96. Scott then returned to the reserves and didn't play again for the first team. He left the club at the end of the season.

In the summer of 1997 he joined Hythe United and Scott then linked up with Canterbury for the 1998/99 campaign. He also played for City during 1999/00 before dropping out of senior football.
