6' 8" tall keeper born in Haywards Heath, Sussex who started out in Fulham's youth ranks before being released by the Cottagers. Stuart then played for Crawley during the 2004/05 and 2005/06 seasons.

He spent 2006/07 with Sussex County League club Three Bridges and Stuart also started the 2007/08 campaign there before switching to Lewes at the end of 2007.

In January 2008 Lewes loaned him to Cove of the Combined Counties League and in March 2008 Stuart was farmed out to Burgess Hill.

He made three Isthmian League Division 1 South appearances during his loan spell at Burgess Hill before going back to Lewes.

Stuart finally made his first team debut for the Rooks in April 2008 but at the end of the season he was released.

Stuart joined Leatherhead for the start of the 2008/09 campaign and made four Division 1 South appearances there before relocating and joining Conference outfit Northwich in November 2008.

At the start of 2009 Stuart had a loan spell with Altrincham and in March 2009 he returned to the south when he signed for Conference South club Fisher.

In the summer of 2009 Stuart played in two friendlies for Margate and manager Terry Yorath told the Isle of Thanet Gazette "He's a massive guy. He's been training with Crystal Palace but isn't signed with anyone. He's got a presence about him, so it's something to think about." On 15.8.09 Stuart was in goal as Margate started their Isthmian League Premier Division campaign at Sutton but after the home side won 4-0 he was released.

A few weeks after his brief spell with Margate Stuart joined Whitehawk of the Sussex County League and he stayed there until November 2009 when he signed for Grays. He was replaced at Whitehawk by Lloyd Anderson who'd also played once for Margate during the early part of 2009/10.

Stuart featured in the Conference for Grays before moving on to Farnborough in December 2009.

He played 12 times (once as sub) for Farnborough during the remainder of 2009/10 but left the club at the end of the season.

Stuart rejoined Grays in the summer of 2010 and stayed there until November 2010 when he signed for Isthmian League Division 1 South outfit Dulwich.

At the start of 2011 he went back to Farnborough and Stuart played twice for their first team before the end of the 2010/11 campaign.

In June 2011 he started a second spell with Lewes and Stuart played five times in the Isthmian League Premier Division for the Rooks during 2011/12.

He signed for Horsham in June 2012 ahead of their first season in Division 1 South following relegation from the Premier Division.
