Defender who started his senior career with Bromley during the 1980/81 season and then moved on to Fisher.

In December 1985 Tim joined Billericay before returning to Bromley for the 1987/88 campaign.

In the summer of 1989 he joined Margate, following Bromley manager Trevor Ford to the club, and Tim made his debut on 15.8.89 as Margate beat Ramsgate 3-1 at Hartsdown in the annual Isle of Thanet Gazette Cup game. He put Margate in front from the penalty spot and it was the club's first goal since changing their name back from Thanet United. Tim kept his place in the heart of the defence for the next five games but suffered a knee injury as Margate beat Wick 2-1 in an FA Cup tie at Hartsdown on 2.9.89. He had to undergo a cartilage operation and never played for the club again.
