A good start to the campaign saw Margate flirt with the promotion race but we fell away in the league to finish ninth - this was still our best final place since 1987-88. The highlight of the season was winning the Kent Senior Cup for the first time since 1974, beating Conference club Dover Athletic in the final at Priestfield 2-1.
