Player Profile:

Bromley-born defender who played youth football for Cray Valley (Paper Mills) and Tonbridge before joining Kent League club VCD for the 2007/08 season aged 18.

In the summer of 2008, Jack featured in friendlies for Cray, Bromley and Millwall before being signed by Conference South club Welling in August 2008.

The Wings immediately loaned him to Margate for three months and, after playing in a 3-1 friendly win over Cray at Hartsdown Park on 10.8.08, Jack made his competitive debut in an Isthmian League Premier Division game at Carshalton on 16.8.08. He played at right-back and scored with a header from a Wayne Wilson corner after 14 minutes to give Margate the lead but the home side eventually won 2-1. Jack also wore the number two shirt in a 4-0 defeat against Canvey Island at Hartsdown Park on 23.8.08 but then missed matches due to injury.

He returned to the side in a 2-1 defeat at Tooting & Mitcham on 9.9.08 and Jack was sent off after picking up a second yellow card for protesting about a disallowed goal. On 20.9.08, he played at centre-back for the first time in a 1-0 win at Ashford (Middlesex) but Jack then had to serve a two-match ban.

He made his comeback in the centre of Margate's defence in a 1-0 win at Dartford on 11.10.08 and after that Jack started four of the next five games at centre-back. His last outing came in a 2-0 defeat at Horsham on 8.11.08 and Jack was then recalled by Welling having scored once from 11 appearances for Margate.

He went straight into the Wings' Conference South team after returning to Park View Road and Jack was a regular for the remainder of the 2008/09 campaign. He also managed VCD's Under-13s side during the season and already had a UEFA B Licence for coaching by then.

Jack became Welling's captain for the 2010/11 campaign and, in July 2011, he had a trial with League Two club Southend. Jack played in two pre-season games for them and then turned out for Stevenage in a friendly at Dover on 19.7.11. The League One outfit offered him a contract but he turned it down and decided to stay with Welling.

Jack went on to score eight goals from 41 outings for Welling during 2011/12 as they reached the Conference South play-offs before losing to Dartford and, by the end of the season, he'd made over 130 appearances for the Wings.

In May 2012, Jack signed for newly-promoted Conference club Woking and the fee had to be decided by a tribunal as the Cards couldn't agree a price with Welling. He scored four times in 38 outings for Woking during 2012/13 and Jack was also managing Maidstone's Under-18s side by then.

He stayed with Woking for the 2013/14 campaign and Jack became Maidstone's Under-21s manager for the new season.

In December 2013, he joined Maidstone as player-coach aged 24 and Jack's move to the Isthmian League Premier Division club saw Woking receive an undisclosed fee for his services. He'd scored 14 times from a total of 58 appearances for the Cards. Jack said: "I am very pleased to be joining Maidstone United and see it as a good career move. This is a big club that's well-supported. It's very ambitious and looking to go through the leagues and I am excited to be a part of that journey." The Stones manager Jay Saunders hailed Jack's signing saying: "I am delighted to have Jack on board. He's got lots of experience and at 24 is still a good age. It shows how far we have come in such a short space of time to attract someone of that calibre. He'll be a great addition to the squad and I look forward to working with him."

Jack left Maidstone at the end of 2014/15 after his contract as head coach of the club's academy came to an end.

Jack then moved on to National League Dover Athletic in 2015/16. He told Kent Online that he was offered a deal by Leyton Orient but wanted to play regular football. Jack left Dover late in 2016/17 to go to Maidenhead United of National League South.

He signed for Welling United in 2017/18, also as part of the coaching team, and scored four goals in more than 30 appearances. But he left in May 2018 when new manager Steve King couldn't offer him a coaching role. Jack joined fellow National League South club Concord Rangers for 2018/19.

Jack's younger brother Tom was on Maidstone's books during 2009/10 and 2010/11 before moving on to Hythe for the 2011/12 season.
