Player Profile:

Well-travelled striker who was a product of the youth and reserve teams at Northwood before making his debut in the first-team in 2006. Halfway through 2007-08, having already scored more than 20 goals, Elliott was signed by Conference National side Stevenage Borough. Loan spells at Concord Rangers, Boreham Wood and AFC Wimbledon followed. At AFC Wimbledon, he played in a friendly against Corinthian Casuals at Wembley Stadium in April 2008, scoring twice in an 8-1 win.

He was released by Stevenage at the end of the 2008-09 season and joined Slough Town of the Southern League Division One Midland for 2009-10 where he was top scorer.

He signed for Conference team Hayes & Yeading United for 2010-11 and moved to Newport County in August 2011. He was part of the Welsh side's run to the FA Trophy final in 2011-12. He came on as a sub at Wembley against York City in a match which Newport lost 2-0.

Elliott started 2012-13 with Boreham Wood but then signed for Conference South side Bromley, helping them to the 2013-14 play-offs, where they lost to Ebbsfleet in the semi-final. He began 2014-15 at St Albans City but left, citing a lack of game time, for Staines Town, then of Conference South.

Elliott had a very successful 2015-16 season with Bishop's Stortford, winning the National League South goalscoring award with 28 goals. He lifted all three of Stortford's player-of-the-year awards at the end of the campaign. On 16.4.16, he scored four times against Margate for Stortford in a 4-1 National League South win.

In the summer of 2016, he was unveiled as Margate's marquee signing. Manager Nikki Bull said: "I'm over the moon to have signed Elliott. He ticks all the boxes as far as I'm concerned. He's an established player at this level who knows where the goal is and I believe his best years are ahead of him.

"He's certainly not a luxury striker who just comes alive in the six-yard box. He's capable of scoring with his left foot, his right foot and his head, and even in games I watched when he's not scored, he was a real threat in terms of his work rate and his closing down. He never gives defenders a moment's rest. I certainly think Margate fans will take to him."

Elliott scored in a 1-0 win at Ramsgate in the second leg of the Thanet Cup on 29.7.16 that ensured the aggregate scores were 1-1. We then won the cup on penalties. His first league goal was in a 2-4 home defeat to Hampton & Richmond on 16.8.16.

On 27.8.16, he scored twice as we beat Weston-super-Mare 3-1 at Hartsdown. In the next home game, on 3.9.16, Elliott scored a stunning 25-yard free-kick in a 1-1 draw with Hungerford.

He then scored in four consecutive matches between 8.10.16 and 18.10.16, three of them being FA Cup ties. He scored the extra-time winner in the Third Qualifying Round replay at Hastings United on 11.10.16. He also scored in both matches against Harrow Borough in the Fourth Qualifying Round, when we lost after a replay.

That FA Cup exit meant our highest earning players, which included Elliott, had to be released. His last appearance was in a 2-0 league defeat at Whitehawk on 29.10.16.

A spell at Chelmsford City followed before he spent 2017-18 with Isthmian League Premier side Staines Town, winning the league’s Golden Boot with 39 goals.

He started 2018-19 at Isthmian League Kingstonian but, in February, signed for rivals Dorking Wanderers, helping them to the league title.

Hayes & Yeading was Elliott's next destination in 2019-20. In November, it was alleged that Elliott was racially insulted by a spectator while receiving treatment during an FA Trophy tie while playing for Hayes at Salisbury. The allegation was reported to Wiltshire Police.

In September 2021, Southern League Premier Division South club Farnborough signed him on a dual registration basis with Kingstonian, though Elliott played mostly for Ks that season.

He started 2022-23 at Leatherhead of the Isthmian South Central Division but soon moved on to Beaconsfield Town of the Southern League Premier Division South. In September 2023, he dropped two divisions to accept an offer from Rayners Lane of the Combined Counties League North. He was their top scorer as they won promotion via the play-offs. He remained with Rayners Lane as they played in Isthmian League South Central in 2024-25. Elliott was with Risborough Rangers of the Spartan South Midlands League in 2025-26.
