Player Profile:
A talented midfielder born in Lambeth, Kadell started his career with Crystal Palace and was an unused substitute in an FA Cup Third Round tie on 7.1.12 at Derby County, which Palace lost 1-0.
In September 2013, after rejecting a new deal at Palace, he joined Championship side Charlton Athletic on a one-year deal, with an option of an extra year.
After no first-team games at Charlton, Kadell was sent on loan to Hayes & Yeading United in February 2015. In March 2015, he joined Conference Premier side Torquay United on loan for the remainder of the 2014-15 campaign.
On 25.6.15, Kadell made his Guyana debut in a 2-0 defeat against Cuba.
That summer he was released by Charlton and joined National League side Woking on a one-year deal.
Kadell struggled to get in the team under manager Garry Hill and joined National League rivals Welling United on a non-contract basis in January 2016. Having scored three times in 13 appearances for Welling, he left at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
Kadell joined Isthmian League Premier Division side Dulwich Hamlet in August 2016. Hamlet loaned him to Leatherhead in October, a move which became permanent.
Dover Athletic in the National League was Kadell's next destination ahead of 2017-18.
Having made 39 appearances and scored two goals, Kadell signed a new contract at Crabble but was not a regular in the 2018-19 season, spending time on loan at Margate.
Kadell's Margate debut was in Jay Saunders' first match as manager, a 1-1 draw at Tonbridge on 9.2.19.
Kadell played six games in his loan spell and scored four times - in a 3-0 win at Corinthian Casuals on 23.2.19, a 1-1 draw at home to Carshalton on 26.2.19, a 2-1 win at Hornchurch on 2.3.19 and a 1-0 win at home to Bognor on 9.3.19.
Kadell had played in three of the four qualifying matches that took Guyana to the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup for the first time in their history. He played in one group match, a 1-1 draw on 26.6.19 with Trinidad & Tobago, at the tournament itself.
Kadell then joined Margate permanently for 2019-20, in which he netted 13 times and was our joint top scorer.
He scored twice in a 2-2 draw at Hornchurch on 13.8.19 - the two goals, one in each half, were identical, curling free-kicks from the edge of the box.
On 14.9.19, Kadell came off the bench to score both goals in a 2-1 win at Cheshunt - the winner being a last-minute penalty.
Another memorable goal was in a 4-2 FA Cup win at Salisbury on 5.10.19, a 25-yard shot with the outside of his boot that flew into the top corner.
He scored twice in a 4-3 defeat at home to Cray Wanderers on 1.1.20 and grabbed another brace in a 3-1 win at Wingate & Finchley in the Isthmian League Cup on 21.1.20.
Kadell was sent off in a 1-1 draw at Brightlingsea on 15.2.19 for kicking out at an opponent.
In an interview with a betting website in 2020, Kadell said: "I'm a confidence player, for sure. I feel like I need a manager that lets me play in the final third, lets me get on with it. I feel like I haven't done so well under managers that put a bit of a leash on me, because my game is quite instinctive, so I react off things, off certain situations. I'm not the type of player who repetitively does a specific thing. There are players that are great at doing that specific thing over and over again, and that’s probably why they are higher, that’s why they’re good, but for me, I don't feel like I have a standout, amazing thing that I do. I just feel like in different situations I do different things, and I think that a manager who allows me to express myself in that way gets the best out of me."
Kadell joined fellow Isthmian League side Kingstonian ahead of the 2020-21 campaign. Manager Jay Saunders told the club website: "Kadell has been fantastic for us but unfortunately he has got himself a new job and he is looking to do a little less travelling.
"Losing someone of Kadell's quality is disappointing on the pitch but also off it. He was a character around the squad and our fans loved him but he come down from full-time football and now the job he does means he wants to do less travelling, which I completely understand and we wish him all the best."
In May 2021, it was announced that Kadell would join National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough. In November 2021, he returned to Hayes & Yeading United.
Kadell started 2022-23 at Isthmian Premier Folkestone Invicta but joined Horsham in February 2023. On 11.3.23, he scored a first-half hat-trick in a 4-1 win at Kingstonian. He was part of the Horsham team that lost to Barnsley after a replay in the FA Cup First Round in November 2023.
In January 2024, he returned to Margate and made 13 appearances, including three as a sub, without scoring. He left Margate at the end of the campaign.
Kadell started the 2024-25 season with Croydon Athletic in the Isthmian League South East Division.
