Player Profile:

Goalkeeper Tom came through the youth set-up at Dartford and made his first-team debut during the 2022-23 season, during which he had a spell on loan at Heybridge Swifts of Isthmian League North where he kept eight clean sheets in 15 matches. He also appeared for K Sports in the SCEFL Premier.

A further loan spell at Swifts followed in 2023-24.

Tom joined Margate in the summer of 2024. In an interview with Kent Online during pre-season, Margate player-manager Ben Greenhalgh said of Tom: “His distribution is brilliant - well beyond this level, we’re talking nearly Football League level.”

Defensively, Margate started the season in fine form and Tom had eight clean sheets from his first 12 appearances.

He saved two second half penalties from Joe Taylor in our 1-0 Kent Senior Cup win at Ramsgate on 24.9.24. On 5.11.24, he made a match-winning penalty save late in a 1-0 win at Deal Town.

On 15.2.25, Tom was sent off in the second half of a 1-0 defeat at AFC Croydon Athletic for a challenge outside the box. Tom finished the season having made 46 appearances.

Tom stayed at Margate for 2025-26. On 6.12.25, he was sent off in a 3-0 defeat at Three Bridges.

Tom is a plumber by trade.
