Player Profile:

Jeffrey, who was born in Edmonton, North London, but is of DR Congolese descent, progressed through the youth system at Arsenal. In 2008, at the age of 14, he was handed a four-year contract.

He was released by the Gunners and signed a one-year deal with Preston North End in summer 2012.

He made his debut in a League Cup tie at home to Huddersfield Town on 13.8.12 in a 2-0 win. He went on to score six goals in his first year of professional football.

In September 2013, Jeffrey joined fellow League One side Colchester United on loan. He scored on his debut for the club in a 2-2 draw at Bradford City on 14.9.13.

In January 2014, Jeffrey transferred to Championship club Brighton & Hove Albion for an undisclosed fee, signing an 18-month contract with the club's development squad. In March 2014, he joined League One Crawley Town on loan.

In July 2014, he was loaned to Aberdeen for six months. Further loans to Mansfield Town, starting in February 2015, and Carlisle United, starting in March 2015, followed.

He also started 2015-16 with another loan move, this time to League Two side Bristol Rovers.

Jeffrey then relocated to Romania and, in January 2016, signed for FC Voluntari.

He returned to the UK and, in December 2016, Jeffrey signed an 18-month contract with National League club Sutton United.

In February 2017, he was loaned to Margate. Jeffrey made five appearances for the club, including in a 0-0 draw at Concord Rangers on 4.3.17 that halted a run of 18 successive league defeats.

In August 2017, he signed a loan deal with Welling United, which was made permanent in November 2017. In March 2018, Jeffrey joined Wealdstone. He moved to Dulwich Hamlet, also of National League South, in June 2019.

In March 2024, Jeffrey announced his retirement from football due to injury.
