Joshua is a product of Gillingham's academy programme and was offered a professional contract at the end of the 2023-24 season, having completed his two-year scholarship. 

He had a loan spell with Ashford United in 2023-24.

In January 2025, Joshua joined Margate on a 28-day loan and made his debut in a 2-1 defeat at home to Sevenoaks Town on 11.1.25. He made one further appearance before leaving the club.

In March 2025, he joined AFC Croydon Athletic on loan.

He is the son of former Margate chairman Alistair.
