Player Profile:

Charlie was a product of the Soccer Elite FA Academy and featured in Margate’s first-team during the truncated 2020-21 campaign. He also played for Chatham Town’s U19 side at this time.

He made four sub appearances for Margate, his debut being in a 2-1 FA Cup defeat at home to Hayes & Yeading United on 22.9.20. 

Charlie scored twice in a behind-closed-doors trial match against Bearsted at Hartsdown that finished 2-2 on 10.4.21. He also scored both goals in a 2-1 win at Holmesdale in a match played behind closed doors on 15.5.21.

He featured in our pre-season programme for 2021-22 and scored the winning goal in a 2-1 win at home to Guildford City on 17.7.21. Charlie played for the Under-23s during 2021-22 but didn’t make any further first-team appearances.

He went on to play for SCEFL Division One side Staplehurst Monarchs.
