Player Profile:

Striker Tom began his career at Charlton Athletic before continuing his scholarship with Gillingham’s Development Squad in August 2013. He had a three-month loan period with Conference South side Chelmsford City.

There followed spells at Eastbourne Borough, Aldershot, Hayes & Yeading, Kingstonian, Leatherhead and East Thurrock before joining Isthmian Premier side Tonbridge Angels in February 2019. The money for his signing was put up by a group of Angels supporters. He scored the winning goal in extra time in the Super Play-off Final against Met Police to clinch promotion to the National League South on 11.5.19.

Tom left Tonbridge in October 2020 to return to Hayes & Yeading, had a spell on loan at Braintree before departing for Slough and then a permanent move to Braintree.

He returned to Kent with Welling United and Cray Wanderers before a move to National League North side Bishop’s Stortford.

Tom signed for Folkestone Invicta in December 2023 and stayed at Cheriton Road until January 2025 when he joined Margate. He made his debut at home to Phoenix Sports on 25.1.25.

He made 15 appearances before the end of the season and scored twice with headers - in a 3-1 win at Steyning Town on 22.3.25 and in a 3-0 home win against Hythe Town on 29.3.25.

While he was at Leatherhead in 2018, Tom was dubbed in the media as ‘Britain’s sexiest footballer’ due to being one of the most swiped-right Tinder users in the country.

In his time at Folkestone, an incident involving Tom went viral on social media when, during a break in play in a match against Billericay in September 2024, two opposing players played keepy uppy over his head. Tom kicked one of the players and was sent off.
