Player Profile:

Known as JJ, Joshua was a student at The Abbey School, Faversham, and played academy football for Brentford and Dover Athletic.

He featured in Margate’s pre-season matches in 2014-15 and made one competitive first-team appearance. He started an Isthmian League Cup tie at home to Hythe Town on 7.10.14 that Margate won 2-0 and he scored one of the goals.

He later moved to the US for a college scholarship and played for Eastern Florida State College for two seasons before transferring to Campbell University in North Carolina in 2017.

While at college, JJ played with National Premier Soccer League side Jacksonville Armada U-23 in 2016 and USL PDL side SIMA Águilas in Florida in 2018.

Following college, JJ continued in the PDL, now rebranded as USL League Two, with South Georgia Tormenta FC 2.

In August 2019, he signed for USL League One side Greenville Triumph in South Carolina. In September 2021, JJ suffered a season-ending knee injury in training.
