Player Profile:
Winger Dion began his career with home town club Peterborough United at the age of nine but was released in 2008 and played for local youth sides.
He later joined Southern League Premier side St Neots Town, where he broke into the first-team at the age of 17. After impressing Colchester United scouts, he joined the League One club's academy in November 2013.
He made his first-team debut for Colchester on 2.1.2015 as a sub in a 3-1 FA Cup defeat at Cardiff City. After making 11 appearances during 2014-15, Dion signed a three-year contract with Colchester.
Following a handful of appearances for Colchester in 2015-16, Dion was loaned out to Margate in March 2016 until the end of the season. He made his debut in a 4-1 defeat at Wealdstone on 26.3.16 and made a total of five appearances.
In December 2016, Dion was loaned to Concord Rangers and stayed with them until the end of the 2016-17 season. He had also made ten appearances for Colchester that season and scored once.
Dion was released by Colchester in summer 2017 and returned to St Neots. In November 2018, he joined Peterborough Sports of Southern League Division One Central and helped them win promotion twice to reach National League North.
In February 2023, Dion signed for Scunthorpe United of the National League, following the same path as manager Jimmy Dean. The Iron loaned him to Peterborough Sports of National League North in October 2023 and he was released at the end of the 2023-24 season.
Dion signed for Spalding United of Southern League Premier Division Central in November 2024.
