Midfielder Chris was originally a member of Dover Athletic’s academy. In 2016-17, he featured for Dover's first-team in two Kent Senior Cup ties. He joined Margate at the start of the 2018-19 season on dual registration from Dover.

He started the season as a regular in midfield and had made 27 appearances before, in February 2019, Chris was loaned to Sittingbourne. He stayed with the Brickies for 2019-20.
