Player Profile:

Kane started his career as a youngster at Ramsgate and appeared in their first-team in 2012-13. He played for Whitstable Town in 2014-15 when he scored 16 goals. In September 2015, he followed his manager at Whitstable, Jim Ward, back to Southwood.

Kane made his Margate debut on 8.11.16 in a Kent Senior Cup tie at Greenwich Borough – he had signed for the club that morning. It was a memorable match for Kane as he scored twice in a 6-1 victory. He made eight appearances for Margate before leaving the club later that season.

He played for Whitstable Town in the SCEFL in 2016-17. He then joined Isthmian League South side Sittingbourne for 2017-18 and had another successful campaign, scoring 23 goals. He left on the eve of the 2018-19 season to join Folkestone Invicta. Kane had a third spell with Ramsgate in 2019-20.

Kane then returned to Sittingbourne in September 2020 and was appointed club captain for 2021-22.

He left the Brickies to return to Southwood again in November 2022. He was playing for the Rams in a Kent Senior Cup tie at Hartsdown on 18.4.23 when he was sent off after nine minutes. Margate won the match 3-1.

Kane signed for Herne Bay ahead of 2023-24 and was playing for them in 2024-25. He started 2025-26 with SCEFL side Hollands & Blair.
