Player Profile:
Portuguese-born Jerson scored over 30 goals in his first season for Sutton United's youth team. His exploits attracted the interest of a number of professional clubs with Jerson joining Crystal Palace but he was released by the Eagles and joined Blue Square Premier outfit Grays Athletic at the start of the 2009-10 campaign.
He then had spells with Woking and AFC Wimbledon’s reserve sides and Whyteleafe. He then moved to Iceland where he played for Bi Bolungarvik before returning to England where he featured for Staines Town.
He rejoined Sutton United in summer 2014 before returning to Iceland, this time to play for Vestri Ísafjördur. He returned to England in January 2016 and joined Southern Premier Division South side Hayes & Yeading United and in October 2016 joined SCEFL team Sevenoaks Town.
Jerson joined Margate in February 2017 from East Grinstead Town. His debut was as a sub in a 1-0 defeat at Hampton & Richmond on 11.2.17. After nine appearances without scoring, he was released in March 2017.
He spent 2017-18 with Hythe Town before joining Carshalton Athletic in summer 2018 where he was sent on loan to East Grinstead. He was at Folkestone Invicta in 2019-20 before heading to Walton Casuals in March 2020.
He spent the curtailed 2020-21 season with Corinthian Casuals, moving on to Haywards Heath Town in 2021-22.
The 2022-23 campaign saw him with Whitehawk, Faversham Town and Herne Bay. He started 2023-24 with Erith & Belvedere, returning to East Grinstead and, in March 2024, he joined Sheppey United.
In 2024-25, Jerson started the season with SCEFL side Whitstable Town but soon moved on to Combined Counties League outfit Corinthian Casuals, then Lydd Town and Phoenix Sports.
