Mitchell had graduated from Margate’s youth section when he made his first-team debut as a sub in a 2-0 home defeat against Dartford in the National League South on 13.9.16.

He also appeared for Ramsgate in the Isthmian South Division during 2016-17.

He made two more appearances for Margate’s first-team during 2018-19 – in a 2-1 loss at Hythe Town in the Kent Senior Cup on 21.8.18 and in a 2-0 defeat at Tooting & Mitcham United in the Isthmian League Cup on 18.9.18.
