Player Profile:

Striker Obed was born in the Netherlands but has dual citizenship with Ghana. He spent his youth career at AFC Wimbledon and made his first-team debut as a sub in a 2-1 defeat in League Two at Barrow on 25.3.23.

Following his release by the Wombles in summer 2023, he joined up with Truro City of National League South. He moved to Tonbridge Angels in November 2023.

Obed signed for Margate in January 2024 on dual registration from Tonbridge. He made one appearance, as a sub in a 1-1 draw at home to Concord Rangers on 13.1.24.

Later that month it was announced he had signed for Erith & Belvedere to get more game time.

Obed is the nephew of former Leeds United striker Tony.
