Born in London, David was a youngster with QPR before joining Huddersfield Town's Academy in 2020. He signed a professional contract in January 2022.

While at Huddersfield, David played for the U21 side and had loan spells at Ossett United, Bradford Park Avenue and Farsley Celtic.

He was released by Huddersfield following their relegation to League One in 2024.
