Player Profile:

Left-sided midfielder George started his career on the books at Northampton Town and had a spell on work experience at Welling United in 2012-13. He joined Margate at the start of 2013-14 and came on as a sub for Ryan Dolby in our opening league game, a 2-1 win at Hampton & Richmond on 10.8.2013. His last game for the club was a 2-1 Isthmian League defeat at home to Bury Town on 12.10.2013, after which he was loaned to Merstham.

He had a spell at East Thurrock United and was then part of the Canvey Island team that reached the Isthmian North Division play-offs in 2017-18. He started 2018-19 at Wingate & Finchley then moved on to Heybridge Swifts before playing for Bishop's Stortford and Potters Bar Town. After a return to Heybridge, he later played for Brentwood Town and Grays Athletic.

His footballing idol when growing up was David Beckham.
