Player Profile:

Keeper who started his career with West Ham and played regularly in the Hammers' Southern Counties and Metropolitan League sides during the second half of the 1967/68 campaign.

In April 1968 Terry joined Margate on a trial basis as a 19 year-old and played in a 6-0 win at Ashford in the Kent Floodlight League on 4.4.68. Although he did well it was his only first team appearance and he returned to Upton Park. He was released by West Ham at the end of the season.

Terry later had a spell with Folkestone, making 13 appearances at the start of the 1969/70 campaign, and he also played for Grays Athletic later that season. He returned to Folkestone for the start of the 1970/71 campaign and made 28 appearances before moving to Canterbury halfway through the season.

Terry went on to make 15 Southern League appearances for City before leaving the club in the summer of 1971.

In the late 1980's Terry moved to Thailand where he was involved in coaching and in 2008 he assisted new Thailand manager Peter Reid, helping him to learn some of the language and also advising on players.

In October 2009 Terry was running a soccer school in Thailand and was no longer involved with the national team following Reid's return to England.
