Pacy winger born in Gorleston who started his career with his hometown club before being signed by Coventry in March 1964.

Peter went on to make ten first team appearances for City spanning the 1965/66 to 1967/68 seasons, one of them in the 1st Division, before joining Luton for £7,000 in January 1968.

Peter made a handful of senior appearances for the Hatters during 1967/68 and 1968/69 but he was released at the end of the latter season.

In July 1969 Peter joined Margate on a free transfer and made his debut as a substitute in a Southern League game at Hereford on 9.8.69, the opening day of the 1969/70 season. Much was expected of Peter but things didn't work out for him. In September 1969 he broke his nose during training and he was never able to gain a regular first team place. In fact he'd only made four appearances, one of them as a substitute, when he left the club to join Canterbury in November 1969.

Peter only made two Southern League appearances for City during 1969/70 before leaving the club to become a coach at Luton. He then worked for Vauxhall Motors before retirement. Peter was living in Luton at the time of his death in 2016.
