Former Southend centre-forward who joined Margate from Birmingham-based Brush Sports in October 1951.

Jimmy made his debut as Margate went down 3-1 to Dover in a Kent League game at Hartsdown on 27.10.51. He also wore the number nine shirt in Margate's next two games but after failing to score he was released by the club shortly afterwards.
