Player Profile:

Melchi had been with Yeovil Town, Bury and Fulham as a youngster.

He made his Margate debut as a 19-year-old when he came on as a substitute in our 2-0 Isthmian League win at Met Police on 31.8.13. He then started our Kent Senior Cup tie at Dover on 3.9.13, which we lost 8-0.

Melchi played for Maidenhead United in Conference South in 2014-15 and later played for Aylesbury FC and Burnham in the Southern League as well as Kensington & Ealing Borough in the Combined Counties League.

In May 2024, he was part of a gang of six semi-professional footballers behind a £260 million cocaine empire who were jailed for a total of 104 years. Melchi was sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court to 14 years behind bars.
