Player Profile:
Started his career at Hayes & Yeading United, where he played over 100 times. This period included loan spells at Hendon and Burnham. He joined Alfreton Town of the Conference Premier in 2013.
Daniel had a loan spell at Margate in 2013/14, making his debut in a 2-1 win at home to Thamesmead on 18.02.14. He made a total of six starts plus one sub appearance.
After another loan at Eastleigh, he returned to Hayes & Yeading United for 2014/15.
In November 2014 he moved to fellow Conference South side Sutton United and became a regular in the Sutton starting line-up as they won promotion to the National League during 2015/16.
Daniel joined Forest Green Rovers in October 2016, and was part of their promotion to the Football League, playing 32 times in League Two in 2017/18.
Daniel returned to Sutton United in summer 2018 before signing for Maidstone United in November that year.
Following Maidstone's relegation from the National League in 2018/19, Wishart was transfer listed by the club after citing a desire to play at a higher level. However, he was reintroduced to the team in 2019-20, scoring 8 times before the season was curtailed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
For 2020/21, Wishart returned to the National League by signing for Wealdstone but joined Hemel Hempstead Town on loan the following season.
In May 2022, Daniel was released by Wealdstone and he returned again to Hayes & Yeading United before departing for Hampton & Richmond Borough in November 2022.
