Local player who captained Thanet Colts Under-12's during the 2002/03 campaign and then played for AFC Margate's youth teams.

Steve later joined Margate and played for the Under-16's during 2006/07 before graduating to the Under-18's for the 2007/08 season.

He made his first appearances in the reserves during 2008/09 and continued to play regularly for them during the 2009/10 campaign too.

On 30.3.10 Steve made a one-off appearance for Margate's first team when he came on as a substitute in a 2-0 defeat at Welling in the Kent Senior Cup but he left the club at the end of the season.

He then dropped into local football and Steve was playing for Lesters in the Thanet Sunday Football League during the 2011/12 campaign.
