Winger who joined Margate from Betteshanger in October 1952 but only made one first team appearance during the 1952/53 campaign. Alec wore the number seven shirt in a 2-0 defeat against Dover at Hartsdown Park on 18.10.52 and then spent the rest of the season in the reserves.

He left the club during the summer of 1953 and joined Sheppey.

Alec then moved to Tooting & Mitcham in December 1954.

His first name was sometimes spelt 'Alex'.
