Centre-forward who joined Tamworth for the 1945/46 campaign and made his debut on 29.9.45 as they lost 3-2 at home to City Transport in the Birmingham Combination. Gordon went on to score 12 goals in 24 appearances during the remainder of the season.

He didn't play for Tamworth during 1946/47 but rejoined the club for 1947/48 and scored six goals from 15 appearances before moving on in the summer of 1948.

In August 1949 Gordon joined Margate and made his debut in a 4-1 defeat at Bowaters Lloyd on 7.9.49. It turned out to be his only game for Margate and he quickly left the club.

He returned to Tamworth later in the season and played once for their first team in January 1950.
