Defender born in Margate who played for Margate's Under-15's side during the 2009/10 season before featuring for Ramsgate's Under-16's during the 2010/11 campaign.

Connor returned to Margate for 2011/12 and won the reserve team's 'Young Player of the Year' award for the season.

He continued to play regularly for the reserves during 2012/13 and, on 16.10.12, Connor made his first-team debut as a late substitute in a 4-0 home defeat against Metropolitan Police in the Isthmian League Cup. He also came on in a 3-0 win over Bognor Regis in an Isthmian League Premier Division game at Hartsdown Park on 9.3.13.

Connor stayed with Margate for the 2013/14 campaign and was in the club's Under-21's squad. He made no first-team appearances.
