Player Profile:

Spanish-born midfielder who moved to England. I'Anson played under future Margate joint manager Simon Osborn at Bromley in the 2009/10 season. He then went on to play for Welling United and Kingstonian before signing for Dover Athletic in August 2010. During his time at Crabble, he scored one of the two goals that knocked Gillingham out of the FA Cup at Priestfield in 2010/11. Luke was released by Dover in December 2011.

After a spell at Billericay Town, Luke played for Isthmian Division One South side Merstham but left them at the end of 2012/13 due to work commitments.

I’Anson joined Margate in the summer of 2013 to be reunited with Simon Osborn.

Luke told Margate's website: “I’m really pleased to be signing there is a great atmosphere here and a decent bunch of players. I have played for Simon before and he brings such an organised and professional approach to the game which I really enjoy. I am very much looking forward to the season.”

Luke made five appearances for Margate early in the season. He started the opening game on 10.8.13, a 2-1 win at Hampton. His final outing was in an 8-0 Kent Senior Cup defeat at Dover on 3.9.13.

Luke also appeared for Thurrock and Tilbury in 2013/14.
