Player Profile:

Midfielder from Sierra Leone who was with Ajax Amsterdam as a youth and also had a spell on Feyenoord's books before injuries ruined his hopes of a professional career.

Musa later played in Sweden before moving to England and after a short period with Waltham Forest he joined Margate in November 2005.

Musa made his debut as a substitute in a 2-0 defeat at Heybridge in the Isthmian League Premier Division on 6.12.05 but didn't feature in the Margate side again until making another sub appearance in a 4-2 win over Hendon at Hartsdown Park on 29.4.06. It was the last day of the 2005/06 season and Musa then left the club.

After a spell out of football he joined Walton & Hersham in January 2007 and Musa made six appearances (three as sub) for the Isthmian League Premier Division outfit before end of the 2006/07 campaign.

In the summer of 2007 he signed for Conference South side Basingstoke but Musa left the club a few weeks into the 2007/08 season and dropped out of senior football.

By 2010 he was working as a 'Football Consultant' in England and Musa was good friends with Chelsea's Salomon Kalou. They'd been at Feyenoord together as youngsters and in June 2010 Musa and Kalou visited Haiti, ten months after the devastating earthquake there. Musa contracted malaria whilst in Haiti and had to spend five days in hospital.
