Player Profile:

Thanet-born player who played for Ramsgate reserves during the 1970/71 season and then joined Margate for the 1971/72 campaign, becoming a regular in the reserves. Mick also appeared once for the first-team, making his debut in a Kent Floodlight Cup tie at Canterbury on 21.3.72 that Margate lost 3-1.

During the 1972/73 season, he continued to play regularly for the reserves and made one further first-team appearance, playing in a Kent Floodlight Cup tie at Hastings on 15.11.72 that Margate lost 6-0.

Mick also played for the reserves during the 1973/74, 1974/75 and 1975/76 campaigns but left the club in the summer of 1976 when the reserve team was disbanded for financial reasons.

He then dropped into local amateur football but returned to the club to play for the reserves again during the 1977/78 season.

Mick was still playing locally for Tartan Rangers during the 1983/84 campaign.

In June 2005, Mick became manager of The Britannia pub in Margate and he was still running it in 2010.
