Player Profile:

Tough tackling midfielder Scott started his career with spells at Carshalton Athletic and Tooting. He then had success with Cray Wanderers and was part of their Isthmian League Division One South promotion-winning team in 2008-09.

He then joined Tonbridge Angels and was captain in their Isthmian Premier promotion season of 2010-11. Releasing him in January 2012, manager Tommy Warrilow said: "It has been a very, very difficult decision for me to make as Kinchy is a crowd favourite, a former skipper, and he epitomised our Ryman League play-off performances last season."

Scott had further success at Welling United as he helped them to win the Conference South title in 2012-13.

He joined Margate in the summer of 2013 and immediately became a mainstay of the side.

On 26.8.13, Scott scored the winning goal as we beat Maidstone United 1-0 at Hartsdown. He also scored in a 1-1 draw at home to East Thurrock on 10.9.13.

He was given a red card in a 3-0 defeat against Grays played at Aveley on 21.9.13. This followed an incident in which keeper Craig Holloway was kicked in the face.

Scott was among the scorers in our extraordinary 9-4 FA Trophy win at Wroxham on 19.10.13.

Following Bob Laslett’s takeover of the club, and the new influx of players to Margate, Scott left Hartsdown in January 2014 to join Canvey Island for a brief spell.

The following season saw Scott join a number of former Margate players – such as Craig Holloway, Joe and Paul Vines and Gary Borrowdale - at Greenwich Borough in the SCEFL.

After winning the 2015-16 SCEFL title with Greenwich, Scott joined Thamesmead Town in summer 2016. On 20.8.16, Scott made headlines for his role in a bizarre goal for Thamesmead in an FA Cup tie at Guernsey – the first match in the competition ever to have been played in the Channel Islands. Scott tried his luck with a lob from 40 yards that looked to be going well over the crossbar but was caught in the wind before clipping the bar and falling to team-mate Jack Mahoney who scored. The match finished 2-2.

Scott then played for Glebe in the SCEFL.
