Player Profile:
Norwood-born striker who played for local club Melwood as youth before spending a season on Tottenham's books.
In 1996, Dan was signed by Millwall and he progressed through the club's youth ranks over the course of the next few years. In the summer of 2001, he was given a three-month professional contract and Dan played for the Lions' reserves during the 2001/02 campaign before being released at the end of that season.
After a spell out of football, Dan linked up with Southern League club Chatham for the 2003/04 campaign and he also spent 2004/05 there. During the latter season, he had a trial with his old club Millwall and in November 2004 Dan scored a hat-trick as their Under-19's beat Swanley Furness 10-0 in a friendly.
In September 2005, he joined Croydon Athletic from Chatham and Dan scored once from ten Isthmian League Division One outings (nine as sub) during the 2005/06 campaign. He also found the net three times in cup ties and stayed with Athletic for 2006/07 but only played twice in league matches during the season. He left the club in the summer of 2007.
Dan joined Sussex County League outfit Redhill in August 2007 but only played twice for them before leaving the club.
Dan later had a spell with Fremantle Spirit in Australia and his stint there included April 2009.
In the summer of 2009, he joined Margate and Dan featured in one pre-season friendly before making his competitive debut as a substitute in a 4-0 defeat at Sutton on 15.8.09 - the opening day of the Isthmian Premier campaign. He didn't feature in Margate's next four games but, after coming on in a 1-0 defeat against Cray at Hartsdown Park on 31.8.09, Dan made sub appearances in each of the next six matches. The last of them was 0-0 draw with visitors AFC Hornchurch on 26.9.09 and Dan then spent a few weeks in the reserves before leaving the club and dropping out of senior football.
