Player Profile:

Centre-forward born in the Lewisham area of London who started his career with Finchley before moving on to Tooting & Mitcham. Dennis left Tooting to join Margate in February 1959.

He was principally a reserve team player but also made one appearance for the first team during the 1958/59 campaign. The match concerned was a 3-3 draw at Tunbridge Wells on 22.4.59 and Dennis scored to help Margate gain a share of the Kent League points. However it turned out to be his only first team appearance and he was soon released by the club.

Dennis died in Sutton, Surrey in September 2005.
