Defender who joined Margate in September 1948 after being spotted playing for a team of Dreamland amusement park workers.

Jack played regularly for the reserves during the 1948/49 season and also made one first team appearance - in a 3-2 defeat at Aylesford Paper Mills on 13.11.48.

He continued to play for the reserves in the seasons that followed and made a single first team appearance during each of the 1950/51 and 1951/52 campaigns.

Jack also played twice for the senior side during 1952/53 but left the club at the end of the season.
