Player Profile:
Greenwich-born Luke attended Southgate College and played for them in the final of the English Colleges Football League Championship in 2006, which ended in defeat against Gateshead College.
His first senior club was Welwyn Garden City, where he made his debut aged 16. Welwyn was disqualified from the 2005-06 FA Vase after Luke played in a match against Newmarket Town but was found not to be eligible.
Luke left Welwyn to join the Protec Football Academy in 2006 from where he was spotted by Tottenham Hotspur. However, Luke was released by Spurs and joined Bradford City.
Luke had a dream start to his professional career - he scored with his very first touch on his debut in a 2-1 home win over Wrexham in League Two on 25.8.07. He scored with a volley from outside the penalty area and had entered the pitch as a substitute just two minutes earlier.
After a handful of appearances for the Bantams, Luke went on loan to Conference South team Cambridge City in January 2008.
Luke returned to Bradford and, at the end of 2007-08, was offered a contract but he wanted to move back to London and signed for Barnet in the summer for a fee of £7,500. Luke only scored once in 20 appearances for the Bees in 2008-09 and, in March that season, was loaned to Havant & Waterlooville of Conference South.
In the summer of 2009, he joined Woking on a six-month loan. In February 2010, he returned to Havant on loan. Barnet released Luke at the end of the 2009-10 season.
Luke started 2010-11 at Mansfield Town, partly due to a Stags supporters group who helped pay for some of his wages. He scored five times in 16 appearances for Mansfield but, in summer 2011, signed for Kidderminster Harriers. In November 2011, he was loaned to Lincoln City. This was followed by another loan spell at Woking in January 2012.
In February 2012, Kidderminster cancelled Luke's contract and he joined Bromley. Luke joined Hayes & Yeading United in summer 2013 but left after a few matches. Spells at Northern Premier side Goole Town and Crawley Down Gatwick of Isthmian League Division One South followed.
It was in March 2014 that Luke joined Margate. His debut was in a 2-0 win at Billericay Town on 15.3.14. Luke made nine appearances by the end of the season and scored twice - in a 6-0 win at Carshalton on 19.4.14 and on 26.4.14 in a 3-2 win against Hendon at Harrow Borough's ground.
However, Luke wasn't retained by manager Terry Brown for the following season. His next destination was Walton Casuals in October 2014. Since then he has played for Chatham Town, Cray Wanderers, Sheppey United, Croydon, Punjab United, Lordswood, Whitstable Town, Erith & Belvedere, Phoenix Sports and Hollands & Blair.
