Player Profile:
A product of Thamesmead Town's youth set-up, winger Adem played for them in the Isthmian Premier in 2013-14. He started 2015-16 with VCD Athletic but switched to Phoenix Sports. He was out of the game for 18 months due to groin issues including a major operation.
Adem was with Erith Town and Barking in 2017-18.
In 2018-19, Adem helped Tonbridge Angels win promotion to National League South via the Isthmian Premier play-offs before switching to Margate in summer 2019.
He scored in a 3-2 Thanet Cup win at Ramsgate on 27.7.19. Adem scored both goals in a 2-1 league win at home to Merstham on 22.10.19. Other goals included one in a 3-0 win at Horsham, who were top of the table at the time, on 30.11.19.
He had made 42 appearances and scored ten goals by the time the season was abandoned in March 2020 due to the pandemic.
He joined Folkestone Invicta for the start of the following campaign and moved on to Herne Bay of the Isthmian South East Division ahead of 2021-22.
In March 2022, he transferred to Ashford United but was released midway through the 2022-23 season and played for Erith Town.
He returned to Ashford in summer 2023 but missed almost all of the 2023-24 campaign after suffering a double leg break during a match at Hythe on 28.8.23 – which had to be abandoned because of Adem's injury. Supporters held an online collection for Adem - who could not continue his full-time job as an electrician for six months - raising several thousand pounds. He did not play again until Ashford's final match of the season.
He left Ashford in November 2024 and joined Whitstable Town of the SCEFL.
