Player Profile:

Afolabi represented Essex schools at under-18 level. He spent time at college in the United States where he played for the East Florida State Titans and Park City Red Wolves SC in Utah.

He returned to the UK and played for Essex Senior League club Woodford Town. He started 2021-22 with Hayes & Yeading United. During the campaign he was also dual registered with Isthmian South Central side Westfield and Isthmian North outfit Romford and had a spell with Leatherhead.

Afolabi came to Hartsdown in March 2022 and made his debut as a sub in a 4-1 defeat at Bognor Regis on 26.3.22. He came off the bench three more times before the end of the campaign.

He started 2022-23 with Hashtag United but, in October 2022, signed for Southern League side Bedford Town. He then moved on to Hartley Wintney in February 2023.

He had a spell in Sardinia with Serie D club Budoni Calcio before returning to the UK in February 2024 to join AFC Sudbury. He started his second spell with Bedford Town in November 2024.
