Player Profile:
A product of Leyton Orient's youth system, full-back Aiden made 56 first-team appearances for the O's. He made his debut aged 18 in a 2-2 draw at Oxford United in League Two on 28.3.05.
However, in January 2009, due to a lack of first-team opportunities he went on a month-long loan to Dagenham & Redbridge and was released by Orient at the end of the 2008-09 season.
He was subsequently sentenced to a seven-month prison term for his part in a gangland brawl in North London that had taken place in 2007. He joined Bishop's Stortford after his release.
In January 2010, Aiden signed for Cambridge United of the Conference on a free transfer until the end of the season. They released him at the end of the 2009-10 season when he was re-signed by Bishop's Stortford.
In April 2011, Aiden had a trial with Watford and he remained with the Hornets until the end of the 2010–11 season.
Aiden signed for Chelmsford City in summer 2011 and made over 100 appearances for them before leaving for Ebbsfleet United in June 2013.
In a Q&A with Chelmsford City Supporters' Club in 2018, Aiden said: "When I first joined Ebbsfleet we played Maidstone in a pre-season friendly on a 4G pitch and my knee swelled up. I said to the physio that something wasn't right, but he kept saying my back was the problem. So I played that whole season with a severe knee injury and I've come back the next season struggling. Really, really struggling. I was never the same player again."
In August 2015, he re-joined Chelmsford on loan.
Aiden came to Margate in February 2017 on a non-contract basis. His debut was in a 2-0 defeat at home to Chelmsford City on 28.2.17. By the end of the season he had made nine appearances without scoring.
Aiden announced his retirement from football due to his knee problem in August 2017. A meat salesman at Smithfield Market, he started coaching youth sides at Braintree Town.
